Eve & the Fire Horse has its world premiere at the 30th annual TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL in the Canada First! Section. The film played to two sold-out audiences.

Eve & the Fire Horse has won the Best First Canadian Feature Film award at the CALGARY INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. The film was in competition with twelve other first features from across Canada. The award comes with a $3,000 cash prize.
